LEAVING GRADE 2 COMING IN TO GRADE 3

A couple of weeks ago us 2mgems, left year 2 and came in to year 3. We were so excited but sad at the same time. We were excited because we were going to be older and learn harder things, but we were sad because we were leaving Mrs M. Mrs M has been my favourite teacher since prep to year 2 I know I haven't been in this school for long but I'm hoping I'll be in here till at least year 5.

THE MONSTER PROJECT

This term we are participating in a monster competition,  we are building a monster, in our very class room how exciting is that, I got the bit's body and the right eye.Where all looking forward to making the monster.the description for the body was tough, moley, holey,slimy, scaly, spiky,fat, purple, neon, green.The description for the right eye was bloodshot, slimy, bulgy,scarlet iris.

MY POEM

This term we have been learning about poetry. Poetry is a poem you can write heres some  types of poems couplet shape poetry diamante limerick doodlefree verse ballad cinquain paildrome and lots more.Today we read doodledum dancing and realised that it had a pattern and some rules and the poem was made out of action words ending in ing we read it again and realised we could do one and so we did a we changed it around and made it into our own words.Have you ever done a poem?

I'm bouncing I'm bolting

I'm sim-somersaulting

Wig-waggling my fingers

and stamping my feet

MY OPINION ON MORTEN BAY

                                       Speeding Boats
I believe that speeding boats can kill Marine Life animals so I think we should slow down. Look out for Marine Life animals.

I  think that when speed boats go too fast they can possibly kill the seagrass also the sea grass is food for Dugongs therefore boats should slow down.

If boats go too fast they can possibly damage Marine Life animals because they don't have time to stop or slow down and they can kill them.
So go slow look after the animals and enviroment.

I think Blogger is cool. It allows you to blog to have fun and nearly do what ever you want to do.

OUR EXCURSION

Tomorrow 2M is going on a excursion. We are going to ST Helena. We are looking forward for an awesome day out

I AM A GEM

I am a gem are you a gem??? I love being a gem it's so fun...                         

TODAY WE DID...

Today we did maths and some patterns we also did hand writing and we went on a excursion. I was with mrs M'millam with Amelia Tom and Jake we went to a bay called Rose Bay it was fun

We have been learning about bays. Bays are an area of water mostly surrounded by water.

help us save these animals by not littering or killing these animals. Because there special to us and there family. Wish hey could live a normal life.

Today we did wordwall. The words we have for this week is quickly straight yesterday suddenly few didgeridoo. I like wordwall.

We are all learners. I like learning aspecialy with Mrs M. Mrs M is a nice teacher and she's a learner too. I know I'm proud to be a Gem and I'm proud of my learning.
